It’s the first appointment that helps me gather all the information I need to get to know you and work with you to create a tailored-to-you plan! Short Term Crisis Counselling is also available upon request.

Couples need emotional check ups too. I provide you with powerful and detailed assessments (included in session cost) and intervention tools to build upon and strengthen the foundation of your relationship. Whether you are a couple or have children, I can help. Let me help your family by improving communication, improving intimacy, understanding family roles, and increasing satisfaction with positive parenting skills.

LCSW SUPERVISION
Professional Goal Setting
Needing supervision hours from an experienced LCSW? I offer reasonable rates and have a wide array of clinical experience. I have worked in a variety of settings (outpatient, residential, foster care, adoption, nonprofit, Telehealth, teaching social work at the collegiate level in a University setting, and developing social work curriculum for BSW students.) I have experience as a clinical supervisor and helped direct a Behavioral Health Services Organization. I’m licensed in Illinois and in Kentucky. If you are interested or need more information, I’m happy to help! Please also inquire about my free consultation and supervision slots that I reserve for a select few who cannot afford my normal rates!

Joyful Nest Counseling is so pleased to announce that Intensive Couples Therapy will now be available once a month! Want to learn more? Couple’s intensives provide deep and personally meaningful change. It is an extensive therapeutic opportunity designed to move you and your partner through the equivalent of SIX months of counseling in just THREE days! Couple's intensives are most helpful for couples in acute distress, those whose time commitments prevent them from attending traditional weekly sessions, and those who need an immediate shift in their relationship patterns. Intensives are tailored to meet your specific relationship needs by offering relationship check up assessments, specific tools for implementing change in your relationship, and more! This unique opportunity allows you to leave the everyday stresses behind and truly focus on your relationship without other distractions such as work, kids, life responsibilities or family obligations. Infuse your relationship with the goodness, connection, and intimacy you long for! ****All couples will be screened with an initial free phone consultation before scheduling to ensure fit. A $500 deposit is needed when booking and the rest is due the weekend of your intensive.
